The hay we feed the horses is grown (so far) on the Finch Farm. Last year we had more than needed and sold quite a bit of it. If you are looking to buy hay give us a call!
There are usually three cuttings. The first cutting is near the start of summer. The second cutting comes later in the year. The field is fertilized and is Bermuda grass.
We square bale the hay and store it in our old barn until it is fed to the horses (or sold).
